    What Is SIPSTACK?

    SIPSTACK is a revolutionary full featured cloud platform focused on simplifying VoIP telephony including SIP lines, SIP trunking, hosted PBX, virtual fax and conference bridges. SIPSTACK is multi-tenant and scriptable, enabling users and admins complete control over every element and route never before seen in a cloud VoIP platform!

    What are SIPSTACK’s key advantages?

    Free (always) – SIPSTACK was designed to be free to use for everyone. You can add and build your own phone network with users by connecting devices to communicate between one another.

    Low usage rates – When connecting your system to the outside world, we charge on a per use basis. Only pay for the minutes you use when calling in / out. We also charge when adding phone numbers (DID’s) for use on your system.

    Simple Control Panel – SIPSTACK console makes configuring phone systems, virtual faxes and conference bridges simple and intuitive.

    Integrations – SIPSTACK integrates with most CRM systems to help seamlessly connect your applications together. We are constantly working on bringing more integrations.

    What advantages does SIPSTACK have over other cloud based PBX’s?

    SIPSTACK users can easily manage all aspects of our phone stack in a single console. Deploy a new PBX in 25 seconds. All features are included for free and you only pay for when you actually use billable usage.

    Free service sounds great! How does SIPSTACK make a profit?

    While all core features are free for use forever, we make enough from actual call usage to keep us going and bringing more cool features.

    Do you have a referral program?

    How am I billed?

    You are billed in advanced when you deposit funds into your account for use. Charges are based on actual call usage only in/out of the PSTN network.

    Do I have to pay a cost every time I activate a new PBX or service?

    No — you only pay for the actual call usage incurred by your services and when adding DID’s (phone numbers) to your account. There are also porting fees when transferring your DID’s to SIPSTACK

    Am I charged when I enter a credit card?

    No — when you enter a card, we only verify the card. Your card is charged at when you manually add funds into your account or if you enable auto reloading.

    I have a credit, why am I still marked as suspended?

    In order to use the credit, users need to activate their accounts by adding a credit card to their account or prepaying through PayPal.

    What form of payments do you accept?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.

    How do I cancel my account?

    You can cancel your account anytime through the control panel, under the settings tab.

    Do you offer refunds?

    No, we do not offer refunds. If there are extenuating circumstances, please open up a ticket with us.

    Will taxes be included in my monthly invoice?

    Customers in Canada: As a company operating in Canada, SIPSTACK is required to charge sales tax to all customers located in Canada. Read more about applicable rates.

    What kind of network does SIPSTACK run on?

    SIPSTACK nodes runn within the Google Cloud infrastructure. Region names will correspond to those used by Google.

    Origination and Termination providers will vary and their system are operated within their own premises and networks. SIPSTACK makes best efforts to only select premium tier A providers to ensure quality of service.

    How can I request a new feature?

    As we’re experiencing growth, our engineering team is working as quickly as possible on a variety of known issues as well as feature requests.

    We are excited to hear feedback from you. To submit feature requests and suggestions, please visit our community forum where you can add, discuss, and vote on features.

    How does SIPSTACK respond to fovernment request for customer data?

    Broadly speaking:

    • We are totally committed to privacy. We have strong privacy policies in place and actively enforce them.
    • We stand with our users when a government agency asks us for data. We don’t voluntarily cooperate with authorities unless either legally compelled to do so, or in the case of imminent harm emergencies.
    • We have many processes in place to closely scrutinize law enforcement requests, and we push back when something’s not right.
    • We notify customers of government requests for their information (unless we’re prohibited by law from doing so), and we give our customers time to legally challenge or quash the request whenever possible.

    SIPSTACK, like all hosted service providers, is required to turn over customer data when it receives valid legal process from a government agency with jurisdiction. We review each request very carefully to ensure that the government is entitled to the data they seek with the level of process they have obtained. Where appropriate, we also negotiate with the requesting agency to narrow the scope of the data sought

It is a platform developed by SIPSTACK and its users to create an accessible, easy-to-use knowledge base that provides users with the information they need to successfully maneuver and set up their voice services.

    How can I contribute to the SIPSTACK Community?

    There are many ways to contribute to the SIPSTACK community. One big way to contribute is to write an article for the SIPSTACK knowledge base. Other ways to contribute are to answer user questions in the FAQ.

    How do you choose what to write about in the community articles?

    The community articles are written on various topics that relate to deploying and configuring various voice services. If you have any specific topics that you’d like to see written about, we always appreciate suggestions.

    Does SISPTACK currently have API’s?

    Almost — We are currently working hard to provide API’s to our platform to allow for the greatest level of access and control over as much services within our system. We expect our API’s to be ready for use before the end of the year.

    Does SISPTACK currently integrate with any other apps?

    Partially, and we’re bringing lot’s more! We currently integrate with Gmail and Outlook for our referral program, but as we are growing we are building integrations to many popular applications. If there is one app in particular, please let us know in the community forum.

    How do I get started?

    Customers will be provided with a referral code link that can be utilized for endorsing our services while tracking referrals and commissions. The referral code link can be accessed from the Referral Page within the SIPSTACK console.

    How will referrals be awarded?

    Referrals will be awarded via account credit.

    How do I earn the account credit?

    It’s simple! Anyone you refer to SIPSTACK that signs up using your unique referral link will receive $10 in hosting credit immediately after unlocking their account by adding a valid payment method. In return for helping us spread the word, we’ll give you $25 for each friend that signs up, once they make their initial deposit. There is no limit to how many friends you can refer and credits you can earn.

    When do I receive my account credit?

    You will receive your account credits after your referral completes $25 of billing (excluding promo credits). This typically occurs no later than the 15th of the month.

    What is a pending referral?

    A pending referral means that a user has signed up with your link, but has not yet made their initial deposit for the payout to occur.
