Salesforce

Bring Nova calls, Flare SMS, and Aura skills into the Salesforce timeline.

What it does

Every Nova call and Flare SMS becomes a Salesforce activity, linked to the right Contact, Lead, Account, or Opportunity. Inbound calls trigger a screen-pop in Lightning so reps see who is calling before they answer.

Aura's SARA assistant can read Salesforce records on demand — "what is the status of the Acme renewal?" — by hitting the SOQL API through an external skill definition.

How it integrates

  • Nova CDR webhooks post call.start, call.answer, and call.end events to Salesforce as Task records with recording links.
  • Flare SMS webhooks create Salesforce Activities and append message threads to the matched Contact.
  • Screen-pop is delivered through the Switchboard Connect app embedded in Lightning Sales Console.
  • Aura's external skill provider authenticates via OAuth and queries SOQL with HMAC-signed callbacks.

Example use cases

Use case 1

Auto-log every inbound and outbound call to the Contact timeline with the recording URL.

Use case 2

Screen-pop the matching Contact / Account record on inbound calls before the rep answers.

Use case 3

Send SMS from a Lead detail view through Flare without leaving Salesforce.

Use case 4

Let SARA answer "what's the renewal date for $account?" from a voice call to support.

Setup

  1. Install the SIPSTACK Connect app from Salesforce AppExchange.
  2. In Switchboard → Integrations → Salesforce, connect via OAuth as a Salesforce Admin.
  3. Map your Nova queues / extensions to Salesforce Users for activity attribution.
  4. Pick the objects that should receive Task records (Contact, Lead, Account, Opportunity).
  5. Optional: enable the Aura external skill template for Salesforce in Aura → Skills.
