Blocked Numbers

Blocked Numbers is your personal list of numbers you don’t want calls from. Tap More in the bottom navigation, find the Calling section, then tap Blocked Numbers.

Unlike the other settings in that section, this list is stored on your extension, not on this device. A number you block here stops reaching you on every device that rings your extension — your desk phone, your softphone, and Pulse.

Call blocking is the master switch. While it is off, your list and your other choices are saved but nothing is blocked. Adding a number turns it on automatically.

Turn on Block anonymous callers to reject calls that arrive with no caller ID — a withheld or private number. It takes effect only while Call blocking is on.

Type the number under Add a number and tap Block Number. Enter it in whatever format you like — (647) 555-1234, 647-555-1234, and +16475551234 all work, because Pulse normalizes the number when it saves it.

Calls from a blocked number no longer ring your extension.

Tap the trash icon beside a number, then confirm Unblock. Calls from that number ring you normally again.

To stop a caller reaching your whole organization — including calls arriving through groups, queues, and auto attendants — an owner or manager can add an organization-wide rule in Switchboard. See Blocked Numbers in Nova PBX.

Self-service blocking is governed by the phone profile your administrator applies to your extension. If it isn’t enabled for you, this screen won’t let you manage your list — ask your administrator to turn it on. See Phone Profiles.
