Affiliates

Affiliates earn a flat commission for every seat on accounts they refer to SIPSTACK. Unlike channel partners, affiliates do not manage customer accounts — you simply share your referral link, and SIPSTACK handles the rest.

Minimum per dealNone — every qualified deal earns commission, including a single seat
CurrencyMatches the referred customer’s billing currency (CAD or USD)
Qualification Period90 days after the referred customer’s account is linked

Payout MethodAccount credit or gift card — your choice, in Partner Settings → Payouts
  1. A prospect signs up using your partner referral link
  2. Their account is automatically linked to your partner profile
  3. After 90 days of active service, a commission of $50 per seat on their subscription is recorded
  4. Pending commissions accrue to your balance and are paid out on the 1st of each month once it reaches $100

Examples: A 10-seat Nova PBX plan earns $500 (10 seats x $50/seat). A 1-seat plan earns $50; a 3-seat plan earns $150.

A referred account must meet all of the following criteria for the commission to be recorded:

  1. Signed up via your referral link — The customer used your unique partner link or was linked through a direct invitation
  2. Active for 90 days — The account must maintain an active subscription for at least 90 consecutive days from the date it was linked
  3. Your partner account is active — Your partner status must be “Active”

SIPSTACK also offers a Rewards Program for regular customers. Here is how the two differ:

The Affiliate Program is designed for partners who actively refer multiple businesses. The Rewards Program is for existing customers who occasionally recommend SIPSTACK to a colleague.

On the 1st of each month at 9:00 AM:

  1. All pending affiliate commissions are collected
  2. Commissions are grouped by partner and currency
  3. The net total is paid to each partner as a gift card or account credit

If you have both pending commissions and clawbacks (from cancelled referrals), they are netted against each other:

  • Net positive — A gift card or account credit for the net amount is issued
  • Net zero — All records are marked as settled, no payment needed
  • Net negative — No payment; clawbacks carry forward to the next monthly cycle

Pick your payout method in Partner Settings → Payouts. You can switch at any time; the change applies to the next monthly payout.

  • Account credit — the payout is added to your own SIPSTACK account balance in your commission currency and applied automatically to your SIPSTACK invoices. Account credit can only be issued in your account’s billing currency: a balance earned in a different currency is held until you switch to gift card.
  • Gift card — the payout is sent as a digital gift card to the email address you enter.

Your annual payout statement is on the same tab: every payout in the calendar year with its date, method, currency, gross, clawback, net and year-to-date total, downloadable as CSV. Account credit and gift cards are both reported at face value, net of clawbacks; the statement shows which form your total maps to (Form 1099-NEC box 1 for US affiliates at US$600 or more, T4A box 048 for Canadian affiliates over CA$500).

If a customer you referred receives a refund, or cancels their SIPSTACK subscription, within 60 days of their first payment, any commission earned on that customer is reversed. Reversed amounts are deducted from your next payout balance.

If you are paid by account credit and a reversed amount is larger than your unpaid commission balance, the excess is taken back from account credit we issued you that has not yet been applied to an invoice. Anything that cannot be taken back that way is deducted from your next payout.

Clawback amounts appear in your earnings history with a “Clawback” status badge so you can see exactly what was adjusted and why.
