Configuring Ring Groups (Hunt Groups)
Section titled “Configuring Ring Groups (Hunt Groups)”A Ring Group (sometimes called a Hunt Group or Hunt List) rings multiple extensions when a single number or extension is dialed. You can ring everyone at once, or ring members in sequence with timeouts — useful for sales teams, support queues, or shared lines.
Ring Strategies
Section titled “Ring Strategies”| Strategy | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Simultaneous | All extensions ring at once — first to answer wins |
| Sequential | Extensions ring one after another with a per-step timeout |
| Combined | Multiple simultaneous groups tried in sequence |
