Setting Up the Yealink WH64 Headset with EHS62 Cable for a Polycom Phone

The Yealink WH64 wireless headset combined with the Yealink EHS62 adapter integrates with Polycom desk phones to allow remote call control — answer, end, and mute calls directly from the headset.

  • Yealink WH64 wireless headset (Mono or Dual)
  • Yealink EHS62 wireless headset adapter
  • Compatible Polycom desk phone
  • Polycom-labeled cable included with the EHS62

From the cables included with the EHS62, use the one labeled Polycom.

  • Phone end: Connect the Polycom cable to the headset port on your Polycom phone (labeled AUX, Headset, or EHS).
  • EHS62 end: Connect the other end to the PHONE port on the EHS62 adapter.
  1. Plug the WH64 charging base into a power outlet.
  2. Place the WH64 headset into the charging base.

If the WH64 and EHS62 do not pair automatically:

  1. Press and hold the Pair button on the EHS62 until the LED flashes.
  2. On the WH64, press the Multi-Connect button until you hear a voice prompt or see a flashing LED.
  1. Open the Polycom phone’s settings menu.
  2. Navigate to Preferences or Audio settings.
  3. Set Headset Mode to EHS (Electronic Hook Switch).
  • Lift the WH64 off the charging base to answer an incoming call, or press the call control button.
  • Place the headset back on the base to end a call.
  1. Connect the USB cable from the WH64 charging base to your computer.
  2. Select Yealink WH64 as the audio device in your computer’s sound settings.

Optional: Bluetooth Connection to Mobile or Laptop

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your device.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the WH64 until you hear a voice prompt or see a flashing LED.
  3. On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select Yealink WH64.

To switch between connected devices, use the Multi-Connect button on the headset to cycle through paired devices.
